Inheritance Law
Inheritance law includes all the rules that regulate the property relations of a person after his or her death, such as succession, will, legal succession, legal fate, inheritance unworthiness, probate, bequest, etc.
The death of a person results in the transfer of the inheritable legal relations of the deceased to his heirs. There are, however, many problems that arise from a succession. What is the percentage that goes to each heir? What is the time limit within which the heir is entitled to renounce? How can the heir be informed of the amount of the assets and/or liabilities of the estate? What is the procedure for the publication of a will? How can one draw up a valid and unobjectionable will? What about reserved shares? These are just a few of the questions that heirs commonly ask us.
We have expertise and long experience in matters relating to inheritance law, offering legal guidance and out-of-court or court representation, and we also undertake the entire procedure up to the completion of the acceptance of the inheritance, such as issuing inheritance certificates, declaring the will as the principal will, issuing a probate order, legalizing heirs before financial institutions, etc.
